A close to another chapter of life...
Admittedly I had a breakdown the day I found out that these layoffs (100 people in total) were coming, but I can honestly say that this next chapter in life I am looking at with adventurously expectant eyes. A bit nervous, but more excited than not. (and thank you to all the sweet friends who were there that night through my bit of a ruckus and as Shack likes to say...vulnerablility)
I have to laugh, because when I decided to make adventurously expectant my personal "tagline" I was thinking more along the lines of my trip to Kauai to bring in the New Year with friends...not the I'm getting laid off...again...and have another HUGE decision I have to make in all of this type of adventure. I laugh...because I wanted God to just bring fun adventures...not "adventures" that stretch me more. 2012 was that year for me already gosh dang it!! ;) But I guess we are never done growing and being stretched - adventure comes in all shapes and sizes. It's how we look at it and our attitude on how to handle it.
So cheers to this new season, the job hunt ahead, and the move that is inevitably going to happen.
